We are delighted to announce that our KidsCare daycare is now operating in Berne EFIB (International French School of Bern).
Before the children arrive this fall, some work will be needed to prepare a safe and welcoming environment.
Ideally located between the ice rink and the zoo, this new daycare offers a warm, family environment for children from the Bern region. Our daycare in Bern welcomes up to 36 children from birth until the official school age. These children are divided into 3 groups, a nursery group with 10 places for babies under 12 months, a trotter group from 12 months and an older children's group. Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 7am to 6.30pm.

Where is the Bern daycare located?

The KidsCare daycare is located on the grounds of the EFIB (International French School of Bern). Ideally located in a school district, our daycare is close to outdoor spaces dedicated to different age groups, as well as Kirchenfeld, close to the zoo, which is perfect for spending time outdoors.

Who works at the Bern daycare?

An energetic team with a passion for early childhood cares for the health and well-being of young children in a setting designed to ensure their comfort and safety. Working closely with families, they support the different stages of a child's development and respect each child's individual learning pace.
The bilingual French-German environment ensures that children are open-minded from an early age. All the members of the team work together for the well-being of the children in the daycare and the KidsCare childcare network!

What pedological methods are used in the Bern daycare?

At our KidsCare daycare in Bern, we use a pedagogical approach that encourages children's autonomy and development according to their own rhythms, drawing inspiration from various pedagogical trends such as Pikler, gesture support, Reggio Emilia, Eco School and Montessori.
We believe in playful learning and a sustainable education that fosters self-confidence, social skills and creativity while respecting the planet.
The French-German bilingualism offers children a linguistic opening from an early age. In addition to the play areas, our Kindergarten offers many opportunities to discover the joys of outdoor activities.
